I do feel the need to write this article to report in on my experience with Nvidia Broadcast - mainly because I've been totally blown away by it.īasically, the Nvidia Broadcast app continues on from where the impressive RTX Voice started. There's the company's dedicated ray tracing cores, which goes hand in hand with the astonishing and transformative DLSS feature to allow higher resolutions without a sacrifice of frames per second. Arguably, an Nvidia-brand graphics card purchase is made all the more attractive by the company's various additional features and offerings beyond brute force and power. Raw GPU horsepower is great, but Nvidia isn't stopping there.

The new GPUs appear to be well worthwhile, at least based on my review of the GeForce RTX 3080, which generally speaking offered a strong uplift of as much as 50% to the frame rates of games when challenged with a full 4K, max settings presentation. NVIDIA says that was a pretty rare occurrence, but Broadcast 1.3 should fix it entirely. There's not much worse for a broadcast than when a streamer gets excited and their voice gets louder or higher pitched, and it's removed entirely. On occasion, the AI cleanup routines would accidentally remove the speaker entirely, especially if they get emotional. First up is a pretty big bug fix for vocal noise removal. NVIDIA Broadcast version 1.3 has three big headlining features that can help bring broadcasts to the next level.

Today, the company released an update that should go much easier on the PC's hardware. The full-fledged suite focuses on webcams and audio alike. Back when it was just RTX Voice, we found the AI-assisted cleanup tools did a nice job of stripping out room audio and boosting the volume so we could be heard.
